Jet Investment Expands Náš Chléb with Ostrava-Based Bakery PEKAŘI a spol.
(Brno, September 11) The Jet Investment Group, through its Jet 3 fund, is expanding the Náš Chléb group with the addition of Ostrava-based bakery PEKAŘI a spol. The acquisition gives Náš Chléb a production and distribution base in the Moravian-Silesian Region, allowing it to gradually extend its offering of high-quality baked goods and other food products across Moravia.

The Ostrava-based bakery PEKAŘI a spol. operates across the Moravian-Silesian Region and employs 101 people. It generates annual revenue of approximately CZK 160 million and, alongside its bakery, runs several retail locations in the region. In 2025, the company opened Bistro 56 in Ostrava-Poruba, a more contemporary bakery concept offering sourdough bread, pastries, and specialty coffee. PEKAŘI a spol. has a long history in Ostrava, dating back to 1960.
Jet Investment is acquiring a 100% stake in the Ostrava-based company. “PEKAŘI a spol. caught our attention not only for its production facilities, which provide room for further growth, but also for its experience developing a craft bakery concept in Ostrava. The recently opened Bistro 56 is a clear sign that there is demand for high-quality, artisanal baked goods in the region. We see an opportunity to build on that experience as we gradually expand our offering across Moravia,” says Marek Večeř, Project Manager at Jet Investment. Fresh baked goods can typically be distributed within a radius of approximately 150 kilometers from a single bakery, meaning Náš Chléb’s existing production facilities in Bohemia have not been able to serve the Moravian market.
"For us, joining forces with Náš Chléb is a chance to build on what we have achieved in Ostrava and take it to a broader market. In recent years, we’ve built a strong position in Ostrava and the surrounding area, and now we can leverage the resources and experience of a larger group to build on our work to date. We believe that together we can reach more customers and offer them products we stand behind,” adds Vladimír Dubják, CEO of PEKAŘI a spol.
